EcoMinderhub Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the EcoMinderHub mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Service.
2. Use of Service
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2.2 You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to keep your account information up-to-date.
2.3 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Collection and Use of Information
3.1 We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
3.2 By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
4. Water Drink Reminders
4.1 EcoMinderhub provides water drink reminders for informational purposes only. We do not provide medical advice or diagnosis.
4.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that water intake aligns with your individual health needs and medical advice.
5. In-App Surveys
5.1 EcoMinderhub may offer in-app surveys related to various topics, including but not limited to sensitive topics such as mental health and interpersonal violence.
5.2 Participation in surveys is voluntary. By participating, you consent to the collection of personal information as outlined in the survey terms and our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Survey responses are processed by and stored in Qualtrics. We do not store survey responses but may use aggregated data for statistical analysis.
6. Push Notifications and Calendar Reminders
6.1 EcoMinderhub may send push notifications and calendar reminders for water drink reminders and other purposes with your consent.
6.2 By using the Service, you consent to receive push notifications and calendar reminders.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content and materials available through the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of Africa Mental Health Research & Training Foundation (AMHRTF) or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any content or materials from the Service without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 EcoMinderhub and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
8.2 In no event shall EcoMinderhub's total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the Service.
9. Indemnification
9.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EcoMinderhub and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Modifications to Terms
10.1 EcoMinderhub reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated terms on the EcoMinderhub website or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
